Now I’m really pick’n up on referencing/spoofing to/of “Back to the Future.”
Though, also, seeing this piece’o’junk mobile flying through space (both here and on the Guys From Andromeda wallpapers) gives me this odd sensation of fulfillment, thinking about it in context of the similar-looking space vehicle that appeared on later versions of the Space Quest I box art.
I feel as though this vehicle was due back in Space Quest I, but for some reason never came to fruition in the game.

It’s a hearing aid, I believe. My ex-professor of psychology had one. His hearing was horrible. He’s a Vietnam war veteran. When he pressed it with his finger, it would make a high-pitched noise.

Shouldn’t Grumps have some stubble? Otherwise I love the art. The truck especially looks exciting for the plot. I actually see a lot more flying taxi from 5th Element than flying Delorean. Not a bad thing at all.

Pretty sweet overall. I’ve always liked the concept of cars as space ships. It makes sense in a way.

Agreed, but not as scatter-brained… he’s got that old codger laser-focus that makes you want to not mess with him. You’re *certain* that he could hit you in the back of the head from across the room with his wrench if he though it would improve your attitude… only to tell you to put the wrench back where it goes 😉
