Here’s an early test for Rooter, Ace’s companion and “walking toolbox” (sans final texture detailing). Scott and I both think this little mutt is going to steal the show for sure and we have a lot in store for him as a playable character.

Ah, he’s so cute. I just want to hug him and squeeze him and name him George.

Nice Looney Tunes reference! 😉

What the other two said. Except for the George bit. 😀

You can tell this is gonna be good when you can tell a character’s personality from its way of walking 🙂

He’s pretty cute indeed, but there’s nothing cuter than a (my) cat. 😛

Great bouncy trot, looks good in slo-mo too

Yes, he’s very cute indeed, but wouldn’t it be unconsciously inspired from Rincewind’s walking luggage? 😉
(in the not-well-enough-famous Discworld series)

I like the way his toilet brush tongue spirals (plus all the other good things pointed out by the rest). He probably will steal the show. Lassie and Flipper ain’t got shit on this guy!
I also like to point out that it is obvious to me you have gone through a great deal to smoothly merge the idea of Rooter’s functionality as a toolbox with his personality as a dog. The way he moves is so cleverly akin to the real, natural, anatomical movement of a live dog (the twirling tongue, the springy-cheerful legs, the bobbing head and everything). I wouldn’t be surprised to see this guy lapping out of the toilet, just like a real dog. O:-)

Ha Jonathon
! Rooter not only drinks out of the toilet, he’ll also clean out your P trap.-
Where’s the “thumbs up” icon at this place? 🙂

I love his overly cheerful walk. 🙂 Especially if he’s met with certain amounts of abuse during the game. Don’t ask me why. It’s funnier when cute things get it.

Looks great so far! I love the way his legs work as he walks.
