  • Scene Scale Test

No, Ace doesn’t get cloned in SpaceVenture. This was a test to establish the scale for a corridor scene that occurs early in the game.

  • Cluck’s Free-Range of Expression

While working on the 3D model for Cluck Y’Egger, artist Brent Forrest explores the range of expression hoped for with the facial rigging of the model.

  • WHO WANTS ONE?

Exclusive Rooter Cut-n-Fold prototype in the making.

  • Cluck Y’egger Comin’ Atcha in Spellbinding 3D!

We are very, very privileged and thrilled to have such top 3D artist talent lending their skills to this game. Their amazing work really inspires us further to make Spaceventure the best damn adventure game out there. Brent Forrest is the guy who’s breathing life into our Cluck Yegger character, currently. Brent has taken the original concept and evolved it into this spectacular character design. I, for one, can’t wait for Cluck to take to the skies in Spaceventure.

  • IT’S ALIVE!

Here’s a look at some of the fine modeling and animation work of Mr. Michael Penny, one of the talented 3D artists who have teamed-up with us for Spaceventure.

Mike really nailed Rooter’s personality and we’re very excited about how this little guy has come together.

Scott and I consider ourselves extremely fortunate to have such awesomely gifted fans eager to lend their talents to this project.

Be sure to check out Mike’s amazing commercial work on his website: www.nextheory.com.

  • GMX WAS A BLAST!

I forgot to post this earlier. Sorry gang!

We had a fantastic time at our first Con, the Geek Media Expo in Nashville TN. Scott and I met so many awesome folks and it was just a wonderfully weird, surreal environment with some truly impressive costumes. I actually felt very out of place without my TGA regalia. For shame! Maybe next time though! GMX is apparently growing by leaps and bounds in popularity every year and we’re hoping they invite us back.

Mr. PCJ made the trip up and it was great to get to meet him in person. Thanks to PCJ for moderating the Google hangout with the rest of our super fans (you all know who you are. 😉

Also along for the joy ride was our special guest and newest member of the development team, Mr.Tyler Drinkard. You’ll be hearing more about Tyler and his mad programming foo very soon.

    Later,

    -Mark

  • “Ace In The Hole”

Here’s an evolutionary rendering of the previous concept. A scene we like to call “Ace in the hole”. Here Rooter (under player control) assists Ace as he makes repairs down in a manhole.

  • Post-GMX Concept Art

Had a blast at GMX and will be posting more on that tomorrow. in the mean time… here’s another glimpse of some concept art.

    Later!
